We went step-by-step through the process with the sales team, fulfillment team, and accounting team to learn how they managed orders today. As it turned out, the “off the shelf” software they were using was a huge part of the problem. The order process was not intuitive, and it required users to get far more in-depth with the software than they needed to be. They found themselves re-entering the same information at different points in the process, and then having to wade through the system to find specifics for each order.
Using our exclusive P2xRM System, we gave the Sales team an easy way to get the process started, with basic company and contact management tools, a simple tool for tracking activities and emails, and an Order Management Software module.
After the order is entered by the sales team, the information easily transforms into a packing slip that gives the fulfillment department exactly what they need to get orders out the door in a timely and efficient manner. After the order is filled, it’s queued up for the billing department to generate an invoice with QuickBooks. Simple. Efficient. Accurate.
