One of the unique features we’ve implemented into P2xRM is the Action Pane. The Action Pane consolidates information, contacts and activities into one convenient place. Located on the right-hand side of the screen, the Action Pane is designed keep things that are important (and that can be customized to each user) available and accessible.
The Action Pane is used to store Widgets that help you quickly access information, perform various business functions, and keep your most important projects right where they should be – at your fingertips.
Another great feature of the Action Pane is that it can be fully customized for any business. By clicking on the “gear” icon, you can display additional widgets. You can then select the ones to be made visible, resize and define the widgets you choose, and then simply “drag and drop” them. And to keep things easy, the additions and changes that you make to the Action Pane will automatically reappear the same way the next time you use the system!
Driving Organizational Efficiency
Let’s take a look at an example in which the Action Pane makes all the difference. We’ll use a graphic design firm as our example. Such a business would be highly project-oriented. This company works with a large number of clients per month to provide innovative digital design services that span everything from web design and development to brand identity and basic digital marketing.
The company can use the Action Pane to display what our system calls “Hot Projects” – the items at the top of the “to do” list. This helps the business’s owners quickly access the most current projects, check status, connect with contacts, delegate responsibilities to the right employees or teams, and even monitor progress. In addition, managers can use the Action Pane and the “Activities To Do” widget to keep a list of tasks that are repeated each week.
